A report on Charlie Pitchers' win in the Atlantic Rowing race is in the NEWS section

Essex 20

Another fine run from Tina Hull rewarded her with an Essex Championship age category win on Sunday and a club record for 20 miles. After 2 races in the Essex Championship Tina is currently 1st in her age group, (7th overall) with maximum points achieved at both races. Tina finished in 2.24.11. Pru was next back in 2.31.03 followed by Jo Bisset-Smith and Jules Reeves both finishing in 2.50.02. Kath Birks completed the Ladies team with a strong return from a speight of niggling injuries in 2.57.13. For the men, Mark Eden was running his first 20 mile race and in the process claimed a new club record in 2.13.26, a record previously held by Nick Laughton. Onlt 2 other men completed the course, Lee Prowse also in his first 20 mile race, finishing in 3.02.29 and Gavin Foster, 3.28.05.

Cross Country

Don't forget that this Sunday we have a race at Little Baddow. Start time is 10.30am and we will be meeting at the gym to leave promptly at 9.15am. Car sharing is advisable as parking is limited.
