Cold Xmas to Good Easter Marathon

Those not a Great Bentley were competing in this local off road trail marathon on Sunday. The marathon starts from a small hamlet in Hertfordshire called Cold Christmas and finishes locally at Good Easter. This is a well organised event with 3 feedstations on route and a hot meal waiting for you at the end. The route this year was tough going with very sticky mud across fields and muddy, wet byways and bridleways. 12 runners from the club competed in this event. Full results not available yet, but details will be here as soon as they are ready.

Winter Monthly Timed lap

The results of the Jan/Feb winter timed lap can be found in the CLUB section of the website.

Cross Country

The next race in the League is hosted by Leigh on Sea Striders at Hadleigh and this this coming Sunday, Valentines day, 14th February. Ladies need to maintain the joint top spot but we need a strong male team to claw back from 3rd position in the League so far this season.

The date for Stebbing is looking likely to be 11th April, which is late in the season, but perhaps better late than never !

Future Cross Country Dates

14th Feb - Leigh on Sea Striders - Hadleigh Country Park
28th Feb - Springfield Striders - Highwood
14th Mar - Little Baddow Ridge Runners - Little Baddow
11th Apr - Grange Farm & Dunmow Runners - Stebbing (TBC)
