Cock a Doodle Do Trail
Date: 06/11/2009 10:39:11In a slightly lower key event, 60 runners from around the area took part in the 'Cock a Doodle Do' trail race from Boreham on Sunday. Conditions were tough with blustery winds and rain throughout, but a few 'diehards' to the trail turned up from the club. Gavin, Will, Joe, Katia and Howard took it on with Howard coming 1st in the muddy 7.6mile race in 57m 33s, beating 2nd place Dan from Mid Essex Casuals by nearly 3 minutes. Future new member Sharon White accompanied Joe around the course in only her 2nd trail race. Sometimes the weather is better Sharon !
