What do people think to starting a rolling 5 years PB's or age cat PB's?

I was looking at my PB's the other day and I set them all about 5 or 6 years ago, whilst I still want to aim at them, particularly the long distance ones, it is a little demoralising knowing my 10k time is still 2.5 minutes off!!!!

A good idea but I am not going to stick my hand up to maintain the data.

It is quite tough keeping the existing format going sometimes when work gets in the way of running related activities Sad

Wasn't suggesting that Richard I think it is a wholly personal cop-out, I just find my inability to get anywhere close to my PB's utterly demoralising.

As they say "if you want to eat an elephant do it one mouthful at a time" so for me: achieve my post 40 years PB's, then hunt down the pre 40's ones, if I can get around to getting back to my pre 40's weight!.......oh god I still haven't come to terms with being in my 40's and now I've put it in writing!!!!! Confused

I see and feel where Pru is coming from as a pb seems miles away now and I can't get anywhere near them ... but.....hey... keep heart as my best times were done somewhere between about 49 and 53 Shocked

    Hi Richard

I have a new PB for 10k distance. Please could you update my time to 49m01s from Bardfield a few weeks back.

    Thanks,
    Charlotte.
