If I could possibly car share wtih somebody who knows where they are going for this I would be most grateful as my sense of direction is useless and don't really want to get lost, however tempting that may be.......

same here! i know its only in colchester, but i know for sure that on sunday, my(unreliable) sat nav would most probably play havoc with me, and get me lost in the process.

I think that Paul Molyneux lapped most of us - it was quite disheartening to realise we still had another whole lap to do at that point! It was definitely a challenging course in comparison with previous years and I am sure the hills had doubled in size by the third lap Well done everyone who ran / crawled / dragged themselves around the 20 miles today - it was all good training (or so I am telling myself whilst perched on an icepack on the sofa )

Yes, really good run. Agree with Kath, I'm sure there were more hills the third time round. Special thank you to Hayley for my lift today. A hot bath and large glass of wine (totally earned) helped to ease the pain afterwards, although I would imagine the knees are going to ache tomorrow.

Hay Gav ... I shouted across to you at the end but I think you were still in a state of shock after the run. My run was a hobble round ... and being lapped second time round was not a great morale booster!!!
