Oh yes!! Roll on next sunday! & the Essex 20!! CANT WAIT!!!!smiley

We will be meeting at the gym at 8am on Sunday if anyone wants to car share

If I could possibly car share wtih somebody who knows where they are going for this I would be most grateful as my sense of direction is useless and don't really want to get lost, however tempting that may be.......

same here!  i know its only in colchester, but i know for sure that on sunday, my(unreliable) sat nav would most probably play havoc with me, and get me lost in the process.smiley

did not enjoy that one bit feeling my age and not doing the training for a 20 mile race all the grangefarm speed merchants had all gone when i finished i exspecected 1 or 2 of you to lap me seeing 5min miling springfield come flying past shows how good some of those athletes were in that race hope every one stayed injury free and not aging like me take care gavinsmiley

yep! those springfield can sure turn on the speed when they want to!(damn showoffs!!! lol!) .and about the race, i wouldnt say it was too bad!(except those damn killer hills), definelty challenging!! and thank godness thats over with! lol!! but overal, at the end of the day, a great race. i definelty enjoyed that.and the main  thing is, you finished it gav, so id say that was a good result. YEP!! BRING ON NEXT SUNDAY & THE MID ESSEX XC RACE! CANT WAIT!!smiley

MMMM!... Dont know quite what i did there. (or i just like to send the same messages back 3 or 4 times!). Yer! That was it! LOL!!smiley  . . And also well done to everyone who ran today. you all done well! We all did the Blue & whites of dunmow proud!! (yet  again!). See you all again on Tuesday/ Next sunday! Bye for now!

I think that Paul Molyneux lapped most of us - it was quite disheartening to realise we still had another whole lap to do at that point! It was definitely a challenging course in comparison with previous years and I am sure the hills had doubled in size by the third lapsurprise Well done everyone who ran / crawled / dragged themselves around the 20 miles today - it was all good training (or so I am telling myself whilst perched on an icepack on the sofa smiley)

Yes, really good run.  Agree with Kath, I'm sure there were more hills the third time round.  Special thank you to Hayley for my lift today.  A hot bath and large glass of wine (totally earned) helped to ease the pain afterwards, although I would imagine the knees are going to ache tomorrow.

Well done everyone who ran today!!!!

Hay Gav ... I shouted across to you at the end but I think you were still in a state of shock after the run. My run was a hobble round ... and being lapped second time round was not a great morale booster!!! sad
