Braintree Boggle (26.2)

Early visibility of the Braintree Boggle off road trail marathon with Dave Game (a joint Springfield Striders/Mid-Essex Casuals venture).

This will be the second time that this event has been held - it now alternates with the Cold Christmas event. A few club members ran the first one back in 2011 ... it was well run with good instructions. 

26.2 miles around Braintree starting and finishing at Black Notley Village Hall.

Hot meal at the end.

There is a trail marathon end of January through the villages around Braintree.

The route is predominantly off road with some short road sections.

Held under UK Athletics rules, TRA permit no: 03-11
 

Mass start at 9am. (7 hour time limit)
A narrative route description will be provided on the day. 
Manned checkpoints with refreshments
Tea and Coffee at the start
Hot food and drinks at the finish
Category prizes

Minimum Age : 18yrs

Closing date for entries 17th January 2011.  Limit 100.
